Perris girl, 17, killed in single-vehicle crash

PERRIS — The Riverside County coroner’s office Saturday identified a 17-year-old girl who died in a rollover crash on Highway 74 west of Perris.

Delilah Garcia Garibay of Perris died at Inland Valley Medical Center from injuries suffered in a solo-vehicle crash, which occurred around 8:45 p.m. Friday near Margarth Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department who initially responded to the scene found a sedan that had flipped over and sustained front-end damage.

Details about what led to the crash were not immediately available.
