A Fontana man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing and killing a man at a trucking distribution center in Chino on Wednesday night, Oct. 6, police said.
Investigators believe the men, both truck drivers dropping off deliveries at the center in the 6700 block of Bickmore Avenue, got into a dispute that escalated into the stabbing, Chino police said Thursday.
Police said they got a call of a man down at around 11 p.m. and found him with multiple stab wounds to his upper torso. The 61-year-old, whose name had not been released yet, died at the scene.
Officers arrested on suspicion of murder Miguel Viveros, 47, who was in possession of a knife believed to have been used in the stabbing, police. He was being held without the possibility of bail.
