A five-year-old girl was killed and two other people taken to a hospital after a car hit an electric pole in Colton on Sunday, April 11.
Alexa Adalia Avalos of Twin Peaks died at Loma Linda University Medical Center, according to the coroner’s office.
Officers responded to the crash on the 900 block of South Cooley Drive at 2:25 p.m. and found three people inside the vehicle.
It wasn’t clear if the two other injured people were still in the hospital on Monday.
Colton police said it appears the car was traveling south on Cooley when it left the roadway and crossed over a raised center median and then collided with the electrical pole.
