San Bernardino man dies in Thursday crash on 210 Freeway near Rialto

A San Bernardino man died Thursday, April 1, in Rialto after his vehicle collided with a concrete wall, the California Highway Patrol said.

At about 1:51 p.m., a man driving a white Toyota Tundra was traveling west on the 210 Freeway east of Cactus Avenue at an unknown speed when their vehicle traveled into the center median for an unknown reason. The Toyota then collided into a concrete barrier wall which caused the vehicle to overturn, according to the CHP.

The driver, a 30-year-old, sustained injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency personnel at 2:02 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office. The driver’s identity is pending identification and notification of next of kin.
