A 25-year-old San Bernardino man died following a head-on crash on Sunday evening, Feb. 21, the California Highway Patrol reported.
At about 7:45 p.m., a 2013 Jeep Wrangler was stopped on northbound Del Rosa Avenue. A 2000 Toyota Camry was headed southbound on Del Rosa at an unknown speed, the CHP said.
The driver of the Toyota entered the northbound lane and collided head on with the Jeep in the area of Eureka Street East and Del Rosa, the CHP log showed. The driver of the Toyota was transported to a local hospital with major injuries, where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to CHP.
The identity of the deceased was being withheld pending identification and notification of next of kin by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office.
