One person was killed and three others were injured Saturday in a four-vehicle crash in the unincorporated community of Valle Vista east of Hemet.
The crash was reported at 12:13 p.m. at Mountain and Cedar avenues, according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and three others suffered minor to moderate injuries, fire officials said.
Details of what led to the crash were not immediately available.
Mountain Avenue was closed while the California Highway Patrol investigated.
