Moreno Valley woman dies in Perris crash with tractor-trailer

A Moreno Valley woman was the victim of a fatal traffic crash with a tractor-trailer in Perris, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.

Ruth Reyes, 53, was involved in the wreck in the intersection of Indian Avenue and Markham Street at about 2:41 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. She succumbed to her injuries at about 2:48 a.m., according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies located a collision involving a silver 2007 Lexus that Reyes was driving and a red 2013 Kenworth big rig. The driver of the Kenworth truck sustained no injuries and was questioned at the scene.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision and has not been interviewed was encouraged to call Deputy Cail at the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department at 951-210-1068.
