Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run in San Bernardino

A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run in San Bernardino early Tuesday morning, Nov. 10, authorities said.

A caller had alerted police about 3:45 a.m. regarding a man covered in blood, lying near Third Street, between Allen Street and Lugo Avenue, San Bernardino police said.

The man may have been crossing the road, in a dark stretch, when struck.

The man, who died at the scene, was identified only as a 41-year-old resident of San Bernardino.
