Motorcyclist killed in collision in Lake Elsinore is identified

A motorcyclist died Tuesday, July 7, in a traffic collision in Lake Elsinore, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash, which also involved a Toyota Camry, was reported at 4:17 p.m. at 15996 Grand Ave., just east of Highway 74, according to the CHP log. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the rider Wednesday as Timothy Collins, 52, of Lake Elsinore.

No details on the circumstances of the collision were available Wednesday.
