A motorcyclist died in a crash involving one other vehicle in Perris on Monday, June 15.
The collision happened near the intersection of Lemon Avenue and Evans Road, Riverside County Sheriff’s officials said in a news release. Deputies responded at about 6:50 p.m., and located the aftermath of a collision between a motorcycle and a Honda Civic.
The rider of the motorcycle was seriously hurt, and died at the scene of the crash, sheriff’s officials said. His identity was not immediately made public.
The driver of the Honda stopped to notify authorities and render aid to the motorcyclist, sheriff’s officials said. Alcohol did not appear to have been a factor in the collision.
Further details regarding what led up to the collision were not immediately released.
Authorities asked any witnesses of the crash to contact Deputy Kiebach at 951-210-1074 if they have not already been interviewed by sheriff’s officials.
