Crash on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino kills 1, injures 2

Rodolfo Dorado, 43, of San Bernardino has been identified as the driver of a 2012 Jeep Wrangler who died after the California Highway Patrol said the vehicle crashed Thursday, May 21, into a concrete barrier on the 215 Freeway near 27th Street in San Bernardino.

Dorado’s name was released Monday night by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.

The 7:50 p.m. crash on also left two of the Jeep’s passengers hospitalized with moderate to major injuries, the CHP said.

No other vehicle was involved.

Dorado was pronounced dead at the scene.
