A crash on Monday morning in Jurupa Valley left one man dead, and sent another to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The crash happened just before 7 a.m. in the area of Sierra Avenue and Karen Lane, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
When deputies arrived, they found a man with major injuries in one of the vehicles involved in the crash, officials said. That man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not immediately available.
Another man was extricated from his vehicle by first responders, officials said. He was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The Sheriff’s Department said neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to be a factor in the crash.
