A person was killed in a traffic collision in Perris on Tuesday night, Feb. 25.
The two-vehicle crash was reported about 7:10 p.m. near the intersection of Cajalco Road and Archer Road, according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased motorist as Tamekia Belton, 48, of Perris. She was pronounced dead about 15 minutes after the collision.
Additionally, one patient was sent to a hospital with moderate injuries, according to the Fire Department.
The California Highway Patrol was investigating.
