Long Beach motorcyclist dead after crash on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino

A motorcyclist died after a crash on the 215 Freeway in San Bernardino on Monday night.

The California Highway Patrol said that the crash happened at around 9 p.m. on the 215 Freeway, just south of Massachusetts Avenue.

A Mazda 6 crashed into a Harley-Davidson in the furthest left lane, according to the CHP. The driver of the Harley-Davidson, an 18-year-old from Long Beach, died of injuries from the crash at the scene.

The identity of the motorcyclist was pending identification from the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office. The CHP said drugs and alcohol aren’t believed to be factors in the crash.
