EL MONTE — Two stolen vehicle suspects were in custody Monday night after the vehicle they were in crashed at the end of a high-speed pursuit in El Monte.
The chase began in San Bernardino and proceeded westbound on the 10 Freeway until the suspects attempted to exit at Valley Boulevard and crashed into a guardrail around 11 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The exact time and location the pursuit began was unclear.
The suspects ran from the vehicle after the crash, but were quickly apprehended by CHP officers.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
