A Hemet man died in a crash involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck near Nuevo and Lakeview, just east of Perris Tuesday night.
The Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said the crash happened at around 9:40 p.m. near the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue.
Anthony Armenta, 51, was inside the pickup truck and died, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office said Wednesday.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The Ramona Expressway remained closed at the site of the crash until about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.
