Eastvale motorcyclist dead after crash on 210 Freeway in Fontana

A motorcycle crash in Fontana on Sunday night on the 210 Freeway left one man dead.

The crash happened at around 8:20 p.m. just east of Cherry Avenue, when a Harley-Davidson motorcycle crashed into the back of a Nissan Sentra in westbound 210 lanes, according to traffic logs from the California Highway Patrol. After crashing into the back of the Nissan, the motorcycle veered left and crashed into the back of a Toyota 4Runner.

Jesus Garcia, spokesman for the CHP, said the motorcyclist was ejected from the motorcycle after both crashes and was hit by a Honda Pilot.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the site of the crash, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office. He was identified as Brian Jackson, 36, of Eastvale.

The CHP was investigating the crash.
