Banning crash leaves 1 person dead, another injured

BANNING — One person was killed and a second was injured in a multi-vehicle crash Monday evening in Banning, according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The crash took place about 7:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Ramsey Street, Cal Fire/Riverside reported.

Three vehicles were involved. In addition to the one death and one person who suffered moderate injuries, a third person was unharmed, fire officials said.

There’s no word yet on the gender or age of the deceased. The person’s name will be withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The crash remains under investigation.
