CORONA — The Riverside County coroner’s office Saturday released the name of the motorcyclist struck and killed on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway in Corona on Friday.
Cole McGrath, 26, was a Corona resident, the coroner’s office said.
The crash was west of the Corona (71) Freeway just before 5 p.m., the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash left the No. 6 lane blocked and a SigAlert was declared by the CHP at 5:04 p.m.
Information on what type of vehicle struck the motorcycle and whether its driver stopped at the scene was not available.
The freeway lane was reopened and the SigAlert canceled at 7:55 p.m.
