A 65-year-old motorcyclist died on the Fourth of July after crashing into the back of a car on the 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga.

Jesus Garcia, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol, said the crash occurred at 10:22 p.m., when Harry Blanco, of Alta Loma, was driving his Harley-Davidson west on the 210 Freeway, just east of Day Creek Boulevard.

Blanco crashed into the back of a Dodge Avenger that was traveling at a slower speed, and was thrown from his motorcycle, Garcia said.
