A crash involving two vehicles and a motorcyclist left one woman dead in Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at around 2:10 p.m. on the transition road between the west 210 Freeway and the 15 Freeway south. A Yamaha motorcycle was traveling between two lanes, passing traffic at an undetermined speed, when it and a Toyota Corolla crashed into each other.
The 29-year-old motorcyclist was ejected from her motorcycle after the crash, officials said. She landed on the 15 Freeway and was hit by a Volvo tractor trailer. She died immediately.
Officials said the motorcyclist’s identity was not immediately available.
