A six-vehicle crash in Jurupa Valley on Tuesday night resulted in road closures and one person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said on social media that the crash happened just before 8:15 p.m. in the area of Van Buren Boulevard and Etiwanda Avenue in Jurupa Valley, just south of the 60 Freeway.

One of the six vehicles in the crash rolled over and one person had to be extricated by fire personnel, officials said.
“There are a total of three patients,” fire officials said on Twitter. “Two were evaluated by paramedics on scene and declined further treatment. The third patient was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries.”
Southbound lanes of Van Buren Boulevard were closed with no immediate timetable for reopening while the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
