Investigators were working Saturday to identify two people who died after a car traveled off of a mountain road and crashed in the Angeles National Forest outside of Azusa on Friday, April 19.
California Highway Patrol officials initially said an adult female and child of undetermined sex were killed in the crash along Highway 39 at about 9:22 a.m.
However, investigators later determined that one adult male had died in the crash, but were unable to confirm the age or gender of the car’s other occupant, Los Angeles County Coroner’s Lt. Nani Cholakians said Saturday.
