A man died after a single-motorcycle crash Saturday night, April 21, on Highway 18 south of Crestline, authorities reported.
The California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to scene at Highway 18 near Crest Forest Drive at 7:57 p.m. Saturday, the San Bernardino County Coroner reported. The CHP said the motorcycle struck a guard rail.
The CHP said there were two people riding the bike and injured in the crash, but there was no word Sunday morning about the condition of the second person.
The man who died was about 38 years of age, the coroner’s office said. His full identity was not released, pending notification of relatives. The CHP is investigating the crash.
