An ambulance overturned when it was involved in what Upland police described as a hit-and-run collision early Saturday morning, April 13.
Officers en route to the collision in the area of Euclid Avenue and Arrow Highway about 3:20 a.m. saw a white Nissan Maxima speeding away from the area, according to an Upland police Instagram post.
The Maxima driver, Johnny Garzo, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run.
American Medical Response spokesman Jason Sorrick said two employees were in the ambulance and neither was injured. No patients were in the ambulance.
