POMONA — A pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition Sunday night after he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in Pomona, authorities said.
It happened just before 10 p.m. in the 900 block of East Holt Avenue, police said.
The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said.
East Holt Avenue was temporarily closed to traffic between Reservoir Street and East End Avenue for the crash investigation, police said.
Pomona Police Department spokeswoman Aly Mejia said Monday afternoon that there were no updates on the victim’s condition, and there had been no arrests.
