The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman killed in a two-vehicle crash in Murrieta on Tuesday afternoon as Dianna Ray, 63, of Homeland.

Authorities shut down the intersection of Whitewood and Baxter roads until around 7 p.m. Tuesday, with Murrieta police saying it would be closed again on Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for continued investigation.

Ray was a passenger in one of the vehicles that collided at around 1 p.m. Two other women — one seriously injured — and a minor were taken to the hospital, police said.

Officials asked that any witness contact Sgt. Sandra O’Donnell at 951-461-6369.
