Ontario police want help finding driver in fatal hit-and-run

Ontario police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a 22-year-old man earlier this month.

On Jan. 12, just after 4:30 a.m., Angel Mora of Ontario was struck by a motorist in the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Euclid Avenue, police said. The driver didn’t stop and instead continued east on Mission Boulevard.

The vehicle is described as a dark — possibly red — minivan and may have damage to the front, police said.

Ontario police traffic detectives ask anyone with information regarding the collision call the Ontario Police Department at 909-986-6711. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling 800-78-CRIME or online at WeTip.com.
