SAN DIMAS — A 29-year-old man died after he crashed his motorcycle into the center divider of the westbound 10 Freeway in San Dimas late Wednesday, causing him to be thrown off his bike and then struck by a vehicle, authorities said.
The accident occurred about 9:15 p.m., just west of Kellogg Drive, according to Officer M. Villasenor of the California Highway Patrol.
The rider of the 2016 Yamaha motorcycle suffered blunt force trauma injuries and was transported to a hospital where he later died, he said.
The driver of the vehicle was not hurt, he said.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
