An Ontario homeowner’s Ring doorbell camera captured video of a violent crash last month when a speeding car lost control and smashed into two vehicles.
The surveillance video shows a dark-colored vehicle speeding down the wrong side of the street around 2 a.m. on Oct. 28 near Jacaranda Street and Pine Avenue, when the driver crashes into the homeowner’s work truck and his daughter’s car, according to Ring doorbell officials and Ontario police
Officers found Cesar Villanueva, 40, of Riverside, hiding in the bushes about 100 yards from the crash scene, police said.
Paramedics took Villanueva to a hospital to be checked for injuries and later released him, police said. He was then arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, hit and run and driving without a driver’s license.
