Four people suffered serious injuries — including three who were thrown from the vehicle — when a speeding car crashed in Norco early Friday, Oct. 19, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.
Impairment is suspected as a cause of the single-vehicle crash, a news release said.
Deputies responded to a report of a crash about 2:35 a.m. in the area of 5th Street and Broken Lance Drive. Preliminary results of the investigation showed that the vehicle was speeding west on 5th when it hit the center median, causing the vehicle to spin out of control.
Three of the four people in the car were ejected, the release said. All four were hospitalized with serious injuries.
