Bicyclist, 92, dies after weekend collision in Glendora

A 92-year-old bicyclist who was struck by an SUV in Glendora over the weekend died at a hospital Monday, Sept.17, police said. The coroner’s office has not yet identified the man.

The collision happened on Bonnie Cove and Juanita avenues at 8:59 a.m. Sunday. Glendora police Sgt. Jason Tibbetts said there is no traffic light at the 4-way stop. He said the bicyclist entered the intersection and got hit by an SUV. The driver remained at the scene, he added.

The bicyclist died Monday night at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, Tibbetts said.
