JURUPA VALLEY — The Riverside County coroner’s office released the name of a man killed Saturday in a three-vehicle collision in Jurupa Valley that also left four people injured.

The crash was reported at around 9:50 a.m. at the intersection of Limonite and Pacific avenues, Tawny Cabral of the Riverside County Fire Department said.

Rene Cruz, 25, of Riverside was taken to Riverside Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the coroner’s office said.

One adult and three juveniles were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear, but authorities said drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been factors.
