Perris motorcyclist fatally injured in collision with car

PERRIS — A motorcyclist died after he crashed into a vehicle that was crossing traffic to pull into a business driveway, authorities said Saturday.

The crash was reported at 7:04 p.m. Friday on West Fourth Street, west of Park Avenue, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.

The 25-year-old Perris resident on the motorcycle was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said in a news release.

The 54-year-old Perris woman driving the vehicle was not injured and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the release said.
