The woman who died when her bicycle collided with an Ontario city garbage truck Friday, Sept. 7, has been identified.

Summer Harrison, 39, was pronounced dead at a hospital, the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office said Saturday. Her sister, Lauren Harrison, said she lived in Rancho Cucamonga.

Ontario police said the crash happened about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Imperial Avenue and Holt Boulevard. The garbage truck made a left turn from Holt Boulevard onto Imperial Avenue, and a woman on a bicycle crashed into the side of the truck, police said.

Police asked anyone with information about the crash to call the Ontario Police Department at 909-986-6711 or Officer Jonathan Higgins at 909-408-1928.
