A driver led officers on a high-speed chase Thursday night from Victorville to Pasadena, where he and a passenger were taken into custody after exiting the westbound 210 Freeway and briefly heading north on a city street.
It was unclear just when the chase began, but it ended about 8:50 p.m. when the sedan, emitting smoke, pulled over on a residential road.
Along the way, the car collided with at least one other vehicle and pushed others out of the way as the suspect fled, according to KCAL9, which aired the pursuit on its evening newscast.
The station reported that there were originally four people in the car, but two were let out in Rancho Cucamonga before the driver continued fleeing west into Los Angeles County.
