An Ontario man suffered significant injuries Monday when the motorcycle he was riding collided with an SUV in Fontana.
Police and emergency personnel responded a reported collision just after noon at the intersection of Juniper Avenue and Filbert Street, in Fontana, according to a Fontana police news release.
A 26-year-old motorcycle rider, whose identity was not revealed, was found on the ground suffering from significant head and chest trauma, the news release stated. He was taken to a local hospital.
The driver of the SUV, a 29-year-old woman from Fontana, was not injured.
Fontana Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is handling the investigation due to the rider’s injuries.
