RIVERSIDE — The Riverside County coroner’s office has publicly identified two men killed Saturday in a two-vehicle collision in Riverside.

Christopher Morales, 25, of Hesperia was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner said. Desmond Franklin, 26, of Victorville died at Riverside Community Hospital less than an hour after the crash at about 3:15 a.m. at Market Street and the Pomona (60) Freeway.

Police said the men were in a Nissan Sentra that was in a collision with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Sentra driver, a woman in her 20s, suffered moderate injuries. The Cherokee driver fled, police said.

Eric Alfredo Figueroa-Reyes, 22, Fontana, was later arrested at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.
