A motorcyclist was severely injured Wednesday in a traffic crash that shut down lanes along Arrow Highway and Central Avenue in Montclair, authorities said.
About 2:45 p.m., Montclair police responded to the scene of the crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle at the intersection of Arrow and Central, the Montclair Police Department said in a news statement.
The motorcyclist was unresponsive and suffered “severe traumatic injuries,” while the driver of the vehicle had minor injuries, police said. Both were taken to a hospital, police said.
The condition of the motorcyclist was not immediately known Wednesday night.

Police were investigating the cause of the crash.
