Authorities identify pedestrian killed by hit-and-run vehicle in Pomona

Authorities Tuesday identified a pedestrian who was killed by a hit-and-run vehicle in Pomona.

The young man was found lying on the street about 1:55 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and Orange Grove Avenue, the Pomona Police Department reported.

Jacob Reyes, 24, of Pomona died at a hospital, the coroner’s office reported. No description was released of the hit-and-run vehicle.

The Pomona Police Department’s Traffic Services Bureau asked anyone with any information on the case to call them at (909) 802-7741.
