Sig Alert ends for crash with trapped car on 10 Freeway in Fontana

An afternoon rush-hour Sig Alert was called Monday for the eastbound 10 Freeway in Fontana just west of Sierra Avenue after a multi-vehicle accident, which involved at least two big-rigs, closed all but one of the lanes.

The alert was called at 3:49 p.m. and was no longer in effect as of 7 p.m.

California Highway Patrol logs indicated a car was stuck under one of the semi tractor-trailers, with a motorist trapped inside.
