Three people were injured Friday, April 13, in a traffic collision that touched off a small brush fire in Jurupa Valley.
One person was hospitalized with moderate injuries and another was hospitalized with minor injuries, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said. Another person was treated at the scene.
The two-vehicle crash happened about 3:15 p.m. on Mission Boulevard at the Van Buren Boulevard onramp to the 60 Freeway.
One vehicle burned up, with flames spreading to nearby vegetation. Firefighters limited the fire to an approximate 50-foot by 60-foot spot, Cal Fire said.
