IRVINE — A man whose car struck a tree Sunday, Feb. 4 has died from his injuries, police said.
Phihoang Phillip Do, 20, of Montclair, was pronounced dead Monday night at an area hospital, Kim Mohr, spokeswoman for the Irvine Police Department, said Tuesday.
Irvine officers and Orange County Fire Authority personnel responded around 5 a.m. Sunday after a car struck a tree on University Drive between Yale Avenue and Ridgeline Drive, Mohr said.
Do was traveling alone in the vehicle, she added.
