Woman with walker killed in hit-and-run; Ontario police search for driver

Oolice are looking for a driver who struck and killed an 85-year-old Ontario woman who was walking with a walker Tuesday evening.

Authorities say the fatal crash took place at 7:52 p.m. near Holt Boulevard and Virginia Avenue in Ontario. The driver was gone when police arrived. No description of the vehicle was available.

The victim died at the hospital, according to an Ontario police news release. Her name was not released pending notification of next of kin.
