A motorcyclist died in a collision with a truck Wednesday afternoon near the junction of highways 243 and 74 in Mountain Center south of Idyllwild, according to a California Highway Patrol traffic incident log.
The collision was reported at 12:41 p.m. near the Mountain Center Market.
One lane was blocked, with flagging for traffic control with assistance from Caltrans until the road reopened at 3:22 p.m., according to the CHP website.
The CHP was investigating the crash. No other details were immediately available.
