San Bernardino police are searching for a white Toyota pickup that they say was involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist in critical condition.
Police are looking for a mid 1980s or early 1990s white Toyota SR5 with a dark stripe on its side, a bed liner, chrome aftermarket wheels and mud flaps on its rear wheels, according to a news release.
The crash was reported just before 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, in the 1200 block of North Arrowhead Avenue, where an unresponsive male bicyclist was found in the roadway, the release said. The victim was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he was in critical condition Thursday.
The pickup that police seek was last seen about 4 miles southeast of the crash scene in the 1300 block of Mountain View Avenue. Authorities believe the truck has ties to a residence in the 1200 block of Mountain View.
