PERRIS — A motorcyclist was killed early Saturday in a collision with a big rig truck, which fled the scene, the Riverside County Sheriff’s office announced Saturday evening.
The accident, shortly before 6 a.m., occurred in the 400 block of Harley Knox Blvd, the department said in a statement.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found the motorcyclist unresponsive on the roadway. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene., the report said.
Eastbound lanes of Harley Knox Blvd. were temporarily closed during the investigation.
