Two drivers were hospitalized for treatment of serious injuries early Thursday, Sept. 28, after their vehicles collided in the intersection of 65th Street and Scholar Way in Eastvale, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s news release.
A vehicle traveling south on Scholar Way entered the intersection at a high rate of speed and collided with another vehicle that was headed west on 65th Street.
The accident by Harada Heritage Park was reported at 3:17 a.m. Alcohol impairment appears to be a factor in the crash, the news release stated.
Eastvale’s traffic collision reconstruction team is handling the investigation. Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to contact the Jurupa Valley station at 951-955-2600.
