The onramp from Highway 138 to the southbound 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass was expected to be closed well into the night on Friday, Sept. 29, because of a truck crash.
Two big-rigs collided about 2:15 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol website. A person who called the CHP said a semi-truck’s brakes went out, causing the collision, the website said. That semi then overturned and blocked the onramp.
One of the big rigs caught fire, but the driver got out, the website said.
Three people complained of pain after the collision.

Caltrans said in a Twitter message about 4:30 p.m. that the onramp was expected to be closed for at least another four hours.
A tow truck was having difficulty accessing the scene because of the traffic backup, the CHP said.
