Fontana woman dies after 3-car crash

A 59-year-old Fontana woman died Friday night after she was involved in a three-vehicle crash in Fontana, coroner’s officials said.

The crash occurred at 7:42 p.m. at Randall and Cypress avenues, according to a San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office news release. Eva Velasquez was a passenger in one of the vehicles.

Velasquez was brought to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, where she died at 10:17 p.m.

Fontana police are investigating the incident.
